About Lannister Mining

Last updated: November 2026

This site is published by Lannister Mining, a mineral exploration company exploring the Basin Gulch Property for gold and silver in west-central Montana. It exists to give investors and exploration partners a clear, sourced account of the property, the team and the company's plans.

Who publishes this site?

Lannister Mining publishes this site. It is one of a small number of websites the company publishes, alongside its main Lannister Mining website. Everything here, including guides and comparisons, is written by Lannister Mining and is not independent.

What we do

A gold and silver explorer in Montana

Lannister Mining explores the Basin Gulch Property in the historic Philipsburg Mining District. The property includes 11 patented and 53 unpatented claims over 1,107 hectares, with more than 320 historical drill holes. The company plans expansion and confirmation drilling of historical intercepts, drilling of additional target areas, and a Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. It is driven by a team with many of the same co-founders or senior executives as K92 Mining, Fosterville South Exploration, Arena Minerals and Thesis Gold.

Why this site exists

Built for investors and exploration partners

Investors and potential exploration partners often need the same answers: where the property is, what has been drilled, what is planned and who is doing the work. This site sets out those answers in plain language, keeps historical results clearly labeled as historical, and links to source documents such as the June 2026 USA investor presentation. Third-party statistics are always credited to their publishers and never presented as Lannister Mining figures.

Is Montana a good place for gold exploration?
Montana has a long mining history: the first gold discovery in the Montana territory was in 1852 at Gold Creek, near present-day Garrison, and silver, copper, nickel and platinum have since been mined there. Lannister Mining describes Basin Gulch as a safe jurisdiction in the historic Philipsburg Mining District.
